If you’re like me you have a drawer full of old photos in some preferred order and even more organized folders on your computer full of pics. I was looking at my recent pics from a trip to Las Vegas and tried to pick my favourite snap, or one that best represented the trip. So now I have picked one picture from a few trips to define that city from my eyes. No digital pics from before 2005, those trips are all from those ancient cameras that use actual film — you know? And I’m lazy to scan them. From the top of my head those trips would be to Toronto, India & Africa.

I felt like a tourist during the 2010 Winter Olympics even though I live in Vancouver's lower mainland

Seattle 2009

I've been in and around Seattle a few times but this was my first time actually roaming the city streets and going up the Space Needle

Portland 2008

The city was dead because Americans flocked to Canada on one of their long weekends when our dollar was still low.

Calgary 2008

When I went again in 2009 my camera got jacked. People can be cold hearted like their weather.

Tokyo 2007

Exchange trip to Japan with a small group of students and teachers -- excellent way to graduate from highschool.

New York 2005

Probably the first and last real family vacation I've been on, bittersweet lol -- was great to experience the NYC vibe.
