New series that I won’t bother watching on prime time basic cable for the 2012/13 season:
Animal Practice (NBC), sneak-peek pilot episode was recently on TV; Justin Kirk still thinks he’s ‘acting’ on Weeds.
Beauty and the Beast (The CW). Looks like a mash-up of every other CW show.
Ben and Kate (FOX). Is that the little girl from We Bought a Zoo? Then this comedy might have a chance.. at being adorable.
Chicago Fire (NBC). So original in an unoriginal way. But ladies will love it.
Elementary (CBS). Detective show, boring. I’ll probably try watching it just for Lucy Liu.
Emily Owens, M.D (The CW). First of all House wants his title back. Secondly, isn’t Hart of Dixie enough for the medial-romance-dramas on The CW?
Go On (NBC). Watched the sneak peek pilot of this comedy recently, Mathew Perry needs to Move On.
Guys With Kids (NBC). NBC is great at green lighting really pointless sitcoms and watching them fail.
Last Resort (ABC). I don’t know how to swim, how can I be expected to watch some renegade war taking place underwater?
Major Crimes (TNT). This spin-off to The Closer premiered August 13, haven’t watched yet. It will probably fit in TNT’s lineup.
The Mindy Project (FOX). Another medical comedy. Death to sitcoms.
The Neighbours (ABC). A reversal of 3rd Rock from the Sun.
The New Normal (NBC). Family-comedy sitcoms have nothing new to tell. Already boycotted because its about surrogates.
Partners (CBS). You aint no Will & Grace.
and the list goes on but I probably won’t bother finishing it
