Banshee looks like an entertaining concoction. There’s Amish country, murder, justice and martial arts. The conflict between law and crime has a distinct ‘small town’ setting similar to Justified (FX). Banshee also has a tone of darkness, probably thanks to True Blood (HBO) creator Alan Ball who is attached to the show. FYI, HBO owns Cinemax. Banshee will join Cinemax’s new original content list. Anthony Starr stars in Banshee and leads a diverse cast.
